Granted, Inc. was founded by Lindsey Surendranath, a credentialed educator with more than 25 years of teaching experience at both the high school and college levels. With a Master's degree in Rhetoric and Composition and a career built on the art of clear, persuasive writing, our team brings a rare combination of academic depth and real-world advocacy to every engagement.

As charter school liaisons, our team has guided schools through conversion processes and renewal negotiations with authorizing districts — understanding both the human stakes and the bureaucratic terrain. Our advising is grounded in lived experience: we have personally navigated schooling options including traditional public school, homeschooling, and college dual enrollment — bringing an authentic, on-the-ground perspective that no textbook can provide.
